Ham and Cheese pastry pockets

Filled with delicious ham and tasty cheese, these are the perfect party pockets to serve up.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

1 packet puff pastry

220 grams Grandpa’s Ham

1 cup shredded cheese

1 large egg

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Prepare your pastry so you have 10cm x 10cm square pieces.

 

Step 2

Whisk the egg in a small bowl and have a pastry brush handy.

 

Step 3

Place a piece of Grandpa’s ham on top of the pastry square, leaving a 0.5cm border along the edge. Top the ham with shredded cheese. Brush the edge of the pastry with the egg wash. Fold the pastry in half and seal the edges with a fork.

 

Step 4

Brush the top of the pastry with the egg wash and bake for 30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
